Payment
By placing an Order, the Customer agrees to purchase, and Mon sews agrees to sell, the Products for the Price. The price payable for the Products will be the price set out in the relevant Order. Unless otherwise specified, the Price is inclusive of GST and excludes all shipping and handling costs associated with the delivery of the Products to the Customer.
Payment is accepted through PayPal. If you don’t have an account, you can still pay using a debit or credit card! If I don’t receive payment within two days, the website will automatically cancel the sale.
Shipping
The Customer is responsible for providing accurate delivery details and directions and authorizes Mon Sews to deliver the Products in accordance with those details and directions and to leave the Products at such place whether or not any person is present to accept delivery. Mon Sews will use reasonable endeavours to ensure prompt delivery of Products to the Customer but will not be liable for late delivery or Products lost in transit and the Customer acknowledges that the ultimate timing for delivery is at the control and discretion of Australia Post or other third party provider.
Items will be shipped within 3 to 7 working days upon receipt of payment. If for some reason this can not be done, I will contact you and let you know. I make every product myself. You are not getting factory-made. With the current pandemic, there will be delays with deliveries.
If flat rate shipping is chosen, Mon sews reserves the right to choose either Sendle or Australia post.
Items are shipped in post satchels or carton. Each item is placed carefully in a plastic bag to protect the items.
I send most parcels with Australia Post. All pre-paid and flat rate post satchel items now include tracking. The listed post costs include packing and post. I might use recycled boxes/packaging to save the environment and on costs where possible.
Sendle courier. Sendle does not deliver to PO Box. When you give Sendle ‘authority to leave’, you are allowing Sendle to leave the parcel at the your address without a signature when the parcel is delivered. By agreeing to our terms and condition, you are agreeing to giving Sendle “authority to leave”. If you do not wish to, please leave me a message for signature on delivery.
Although we do not recommend leaving orders unattended when not home to accept delivery, you may request this service with any delivery. You may do this by placing a short note, such as; ‘Please leave order if not home’, in the order comments section found on our checkout page.
If your package does not turn up within the expected timeframe, please contact me and I will do my best to rectify the situation! However, please be aware that I don’t consider a parcel ‘lost’ in the post until it has been a full 30 days from the date of shipping, and I will not replace an item sooner than this.
Express post does not mean faster processing. All parcels are processed first in first out.

Custom orders
I no longer do custom orders.
Pre orders
Preorders takes approximately 1 week to 3 weeks. Weekends and public holidays not included. This duration does not include shipping. If you have selected Australian Post, transit time is about 3-7 business days. Transit times may be longer during holidays and summer. Mon sews reserves the right to cancel the preorder. Example, lack of supplies, machine maintenance, etc. An email will be sent should that happens. Orders will be done first in, first out. No queue jumping. No exceptions.
Light color fabric
Light color fabric sometimes get light marks on the fold crease. Most are not noticeable and does not affect functionality. Fabric with light marks will have a description about it. Buy only if you have happy with it. Most will wash off. No refunds once sent.
No rush orders
To be fair to all our customers – we don’t allow any customer to ‘jump the queue’.
Order Change/Cancellation Requests
Please Note!
If you request to change or cancel your order after it has already been cut, and or sewn, there will be a 15% cutting and handling fee to process the change/cancellation to your order.
Mon sews does not accept the return of Products if you simply change your mind.
Refunds and Exchanges
Only if the goods are faulty. Please ensure you choose the size and design carefully before purchasing, as there is no return policy in place, unless prior arrangements have been made through email. The item must be returned in original condition, and I will refund the full price on receiving it back excluding postage.
However – please be aware that I cannot accept returns of custom orders.
I cannot accept responsibility for repaying postage and handling charges.
Safety
Mon Sews strive to quality check every product before gets posted. Mon sews cannot be held responsive of the safety of your pets. Please examine your items after every wash and dry cycle to check the integrity of the seams. If your item is damaged by your pet or by normal wear and tear. Please remove it from your pet’s dwelling and think about purchasing a new one. Huts are mainly for cooler weather as guinea pig cannot self regulate their own temperature. They can overheat and become very ill.
Liability
Mon sews makes no representations or warranties with respect to the Products including but not limited to their fitness for any purpose other than their ordinary use and expressly disclaims all warranties of any kind with respect to the Products.
The Customer purchases and uses the Products at its own risk and the Customer indemnifies Little Stuff from all Claims resulting directly or indirectly from the Customer’s misuse of the Products or negligence; and Mon Sews’s maximum aggregate liability in respect of any Claims made in connection with the Products will not exceed the Price paid for the relevant Products.
